Connect Instagram

Overview

Book It Fast integrates with Instagram so you can post property photos directly to your Instagram Business account from within the admin panel. You can also schedule posts using the Instagram Calendar feature, making it easy to keep your social media presence active without leaving Book It Fast.

Before You Start

• You need an Instagram Business account (not a personal account). You can convert your personal account to a business account in Instagram’s settings.
• Your Instagram Business account must be connected to a Facebook Page — this is required by Instagram’s API
• You need to be logged into Facebook with an account that has admin access to the connected Facebook Page

How to Connect Instagram

1. In your admin panel, go to Integrations (found under Organisation Settings in the sidebar)
2. Find the Instagram Integration card
3. Click the settings icon (gear icon) on the card
4. Click Connect to Instagram
5. You will be redirected to Facebook to authorise the connection
6. Select the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram Business account
7. Grant Book It Fast the required permissions
8. You will be redirected back to Book It Fast. The Instagram card will show a green checkmark with “Connected as @youraccount”

Posting to Instagram

Once connected, you can post photos to Instagram from two places:

From the Marketing Menu

1. Go to Marketing > Instagram in the sidebar
2. Create a new post with your property photo and caption
3. Publish immediately or schedule for later

Using the Instagram Calendar

1. Go to Marketing > Instagram Calendar in the sidebar
2. Use the calendar view to plan and schedule your posts
3. Drag and drop to reschedule posts

Tips

• Post regularly to keep your property visible — the Instagram Calendar helps you plan ahead
• Use high-quality photos of your property, surrounding area, and guest experiences
• Include relevant hashtags and location tags in your captions to reach more potential guests
• The integration works with Instagram Business accounts only — personal accounts are not supported due to Instagram API limitations
• If you disconnect and want to reconnect, you may need to re-authorise through Facebook
