Set Up Booking Widget

Overview

Book It Fast lets you embed a booking widget directly on your own website. This allows guests to check availability and make bookings without leaving your site. The widget works with any website, and there is also a dedicated WordPress plugin for even easier integration.

Getting Your Embed Code

  1. In your admin panel, click Embed On Website in the sidebar (or go to Organisation Settings > Embed)
  2. You will see your unique embed code — this is a small snippet of HTML and JavaScript
  3. Copy the embed code

Embedding on Any Website

  1. Open your website’s HTML editor or page builder
  2. Paste the embed code where you want the booking widget to appear
  3. Save and publish your page
  4. The booking widget will now appear on your website, showing your property’s availability calendar and booking form

Using the WordPress Plugin

If your website runs on WordPress, you can use the dedicated Book It Fast plugin for a simpler setup:

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New
  2. Search for Book It Fast
  3. Install and activate the plugin
  4. Go to the plugin settings and enter your Organisation ID and Property ID (found in your Book It Fast admin panel)
  5. Add the Book It Fast booking widget to any page using the provided shortcode or Gutenberg block

What the Widget Includes

  • Availability calendar — Guests can see which dates are available
  • Booking form — Guests enter their details and complete the booking
  • Pricing — Automatically calculates the total based on your tariffs and extras
  • Payment — If you have Stripe connected, guests can pay directly through the widget

Customisation

The booking widget automatically adapts to your property settings — tariffs, extras, availability, and payment options are all pulled from your Book It Fast account. You do not need to configure these separately for the widget.

Tips

  • Place the booking widget on a prominent page of your website — a dedicated “Book Now” page works well
  • Make sure your property has tariffs set up, otherwise the widget cannot calculate pricing
  • The widget is mobile-responsive and works on all screen sizes
