What is a Last Minute Discount?

A last minute discount automatically reduces your nightly rate when guests book within a certain number of days before check-in. This helps you fill vacant dates that would otherwise go unbooked.

How to Set Up a Last Minute Discount

  1. Go to Property Settings → Tariffs
  2. Click New tariff
  3. Enter a name like “Last Minute Discount”
  4. Set your discount (e.g., 20% off)
  5. Set the booking window (e.g., “7 days before check-in”)
  6. Choose which dates the discount applies to
  7. Click Save

Example

If you set a 20% last minute discount for bookings made within 7 days of check-in:

  • Your normal rate: $200/night
  • Last minute rate: $160/night
  • Applies only when guests book within 7 days of arrival

Tips

  • Common booking windows are 3, 7, or 14 days
  • Typical discounts range from 10% to 30%
  • You can set different discounts for different seasons
  • The discount automatically stops applying once the booking window passes
