Sync Airbnb to your Book It Fast Account

1 – Get the airbnb calendar link
Login to your Airbnb Account, and switch to hosting, or go to the hosting page at https://www.airbnb.com.au/hosting
Click on the Calendar link at the top of the screen.
Click on the name of the property on the left, and then “Availability Settings”
Then connect calendar.
It will show you the link to the airbn calendar. Copy this link as you will bring this into Book It Fast.
2. Set up the sync inside of Book It Fast
In a new tab, login to Book It Fast at https://bookitfast.app/admin
Scroll down on the left hand side menu to distributions.
Click on the create distribution link.
Paste the link into ical feed url that you have got from air bnb in step 1.
Select air bnb as the channel, and the property.
Click save.
Scroll down and copy the link for the custom airbnb calendar. This will exclude bookings from airbnb, so that the Air BNB platform doesn’t see it as a double booking once synced with Book It Fast.
Step 3 – Paste the link into airbnb
With the link that you copied from Book It Fast at the end of step 2, we then paste the link into the website link and give it a name such as “Book It Fast”.
The new calendar will appear in the list of synced calendars. It is best to check that all bookings are being synced before relying on this to be automatic.
Congratulations, you have just saved yourself a lot of time by allowing bookings to sync freely between both Air Bnb and Book It Fast. When a new booking comes into Book It Fast, it will now block the dates on Air Bnb. When an Air Bnb Booking comes through it will now automatically go into your Book It Fast Account, and distribute to the other distribution channels that you have enabled calendar syncing with.
Air BNB will check for bookings every 3 hours. If you need to sync it quicker then you can go into Air BNB and click the refresh button next to the calendar.
